Motionless in White
Motionless in White
Motionless In White aren't just a band, they're a way of life. Since 2005 this Scranton, Pennsylvania based metalcore act have cultivated a hardcore following via their Gothic-inspired aggression and imagery and that buzz is set to reach a fever's pitch with the release of their third full-length Reincarnate. Fronted by malevolent mastermind Chris Motionless, Motionless In White are back with their strongest collection of songs yet, it seems as if there's no stopping the act when it comes to what they can accomplish.
In fact in many ways this album marks a rebirth for a band who have spent nearly a decade in the trenches—and correspondingly songs like the massive-sounding title track are essentially a call to arms letting the world know that Motionless In White are back and stronger than ever. "I'm very proud of this band because we've spent years cultivating this sound and image and we've gone through hell and back to get to this point," Chris explains. "I think the fans who just listened to us for specific surface reasons are gone and everyone who has stuck with us has formed a really special connection with all of us because they are the ones that relate to the music instead of following trends or what's popular," he adds.
The band are currently taking the main stage by storm on a full summer of Vans Warped Tour. Reincarnate is set for global release on September 16th, 2014.

After The Burial
After The Burial
AFTER THE BURIAL is one of The Orpheum's absolute FAVORITE heavy bands!

An uninhibited eight-stringed dual barrage of frenetic riffs and dynamic chord
progression is exactly what the crushing new AFTER THE BURIAL album "WOLVES WITHIN" delivers with pinpoint precision.
This highly anticipated new offering is quickly going to raise the
bar for all others within the metal genre as this group effectively unleashes a frenzy of
jaw-dropping dual guitar dynamics that is backed by a captivating energy and groove
resulting in an overall unrelenting output of punishment. This Minnesota quintet is
hell-bent on forging their own unique path within the extreme metal genre and they
are well on their way to that very goal.
Justin Lowe (guitars) states: "We are beyond excited to debut our new album, Wolves Within, (released December 17th 2013 on Sumerian Records). We've spent the last two years pushing our own limits in an attempt to give you what we feel is some of the most crushing and dynamic material we've written to date. We feel like this record is a new beginning for us. We are continually trying to push our own musical and creative boundaries that have yet to be explored, and simultaneously paving the way for the future of our sound.
This is an extreme metal hybrid that is a voracious assault on all the senses forcing
your brain to fire on all cylinders in order to process the amount of material that is
currently being pounded into your ears. This is thinking man's metal and it's not for
the weak minded.

The tech-wizardry is amped way up, the breakdowns are massive and face-melting
and the vocal delivery is the most devastating yet. Already lauded for their technically
impressive yet well structured style of songwriting, AFTER THE BURIAL certainly
takes things up a notch or two with this newest outing. Each track will keep you on
your toes guessing what might possibly be next in this never-ending array of intensity.
This is essentially a roller coaster of unconventionality, so strap yourself in tight and
prepare for a wild ride.
Twiztid
Twiztid
Protégés of the Insane Clown Posse, the Detroit-area Caucasian rap duo Twiztid based their act on a similarly theatrical, outrageous, makeup-heavy image and an obsession with serial-killer horror films. Jamie Madrox and the Monoxide Child cast themselves as psychotic axe murderers on their 1998 debut album, Mostasteless, which was reissued with new artwork and extra tracks a year later in the wake of ICP's rise to national notoriety. Twiztid's second album, Freek Show, was released on Halloween 2000 in conjunction with ICP's Bizzar/Bizaar sets; Mirror Mirror followed two years later. The Green Book hit the shelves in 2003, with Man's Myth, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 both landing in 2005. The 2007 album Independent's Day featured numerous guest stars, including DJ Quik and tha Dogg Pound along with D12 members Bizarre and Proof. Two years later W.I.C.K.E.D. appeared, the initials standing for "Wish I Could Kill Every Day." The duo toured extensively throughout the States in the 2000s, developing a small cult following throughout the Midwest in particular.
